Tuesday, February 25, 2025, marked a significant milestone for the Platte Canyon community with the official ribbon-cutting event welcoming STRIDE to Bailey. This new initiative brings vital healthcare services directly to residents, making medical care more accessible than ever before.
Through a partnership between STRIDE Community Health Center, the Platte Canyon Area Chamber of Commerce, the Seniors Alliance of Platte Canyon, and the Park County Library System, this mobile medical unit is a major step forward in addressing the healthcare needs of our community. The launch of this service is just the beginning of what we hope will grow into a long-term solution for local healthcare access.
Each Tuesday from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, the STRIDE Mobile Health Center will be stationed at the Bailey Public Library, providing essential medical services, including:
Sick visits
Chronic care management
Wound care
Lab work
Medication support
Specialty referrals
Residents can either drop in for care or schedule an appointment by calling 720-799-5375.
